We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience managing eCommerce website implementations and projects.

The role:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead all project activities, including designing, building, launching, and managing websites in collaboration with Miva's largest customers. You will ensure successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery, managing internal and external stakeholders. You will work collaboratively with the Design and Development teams to schedule and deliver work and with the Account Management team to set and manage client expectations proactively and often.

You will support multiple simultaneous projects for new and existing customers, ensuring that resources are aligned to meet your project timelines. You will coordinate the internal resources needed to achieve your goals. Examples may include (but are not limited to) the launch of a new website, new features/functions on an existing website, integrations between Miva and 3rd party systems, and data architecture exercises. Due to the complexity and multi-disciplinary approach, Project Managers will be engaged to lead scoping efforts, create a project plan, and manage the daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables until and immediately after launch. 

You will:

  • Manage multiple eCommerce web design/development projects at one time
  • Work closely with the technical team to create solutions that satisfy the customer requirements and incorporate Miva's best practices
  • Work closely with the design team to define and implement customer art direction and positive user experience
  • Work closely with the Account Management team to set and manage client expectations
  • Clearly define, document, and communicate all aspects of project scope, goals, budget, timeline, and deliverables to the customer and internal team
  • Facilitate dialog with external 3rd party partners regarding integrations, best practices, and troubleshooting
  • Develop, track, and maintain project plans, schedules, and budget burndown
  • Deliver world-class customer service by exceeding expectations
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

You have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager at a web design or eCommerce company with experience managing complex project scopes
  • Deep understanding of the technologies used in building and maintaining websites and how they work together
  • In-depth knowledge of project management principles and common practice
  • Proficiency in building and actively maintaining comprehensive project plans and timelines
  • Ability to lead complicated web development projects from concept to launch
  • You must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to calmly manage project challenges with clarity, escalating where necessary to achieve desired results
  • Results-driven with a passion for delivering on-time, on-budget projects
  • Must be comfortable in a customer-facing capacity
  • Possess an understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Familiarity with ticketing, project management, and development work systems such as Wrike, Jira, and Zendesk

The salary range for this position is $85k-$100k annually. Compensation for this role will depend on a variety of factors including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive plan.
